Submitting a city name reloads the map with the center set to the coordinates returned by the geocoder. This works also with street addresses and other location names if found in the geocoding database. Submitting for instance the postal code "SW1A 1AA" will center the map on the Buckingham Palace in London, UK. Since the ampersand sign is not removed from the submission, some other URL parameters - like "&showType=1" - can also be used in this example.
